Gill qualified as a trained nurse in 1979. She has extensive nursing experience, initially within the NHS and Care Homes and latterly in domiciliary care. Gill is particularly interested in the care of older people and the development of person centred care for people affected by dementia.
Continuing her interest in care, Gill has undertaken numerous professional courses including two modules ‘Frameworks for effective practice with adults’ and ‘Good practice in working with older people and carers’ which are part of the Graduate Diploma in Professional Studies at Chichester University.
In 2011 she gained the Leadership and Management in Care qualification. By continuing to update her skills and knowledge Gill is able to ensure that she offers the best possible service to all client, carers and families.
