A career in care isn’t for everyone, being a care worker can be challenging and requires resilience, patience and understanding. Despite the challenges it can present, providing care is one of the most rewarding careers, with enormous job satisfaction and additional pathways for career progression. If you have a genuine desire to help others, a caring nature and a relationship orientated approach – working in care is definitely for you.
The exciting aspect of care work is that everyday is different. Your role will be defined by your experience and qualifications. We have a wide array of roles available with differing requirements. The majority of our clients are privately funded, and all clients have personalised care plans suited to their specific needs and wishes.
Our responsibility is to pair our clients with a team member that can not only fulfill these needs but can engage with our clients to build trust and ensure consistency. You can view our current roles here
Whether you’re an experienced care worker or have no previous care experience, we want to hear from you. We do not expect candidates to have all the qualifications, experience or knowledge straight away. We will support and train you to help you reach your full potential as you embark on your career in the care sector.
When we recruit, we want to see if you share our company values. Values such as being a team player, patience, and a desire to help others. These are values that indicate to us how you’ll fit with our team. At Inter County we know that our team is our greatest asset and we strive to ensure that our staff always feel supported, listened to and appreciated. We will work with you to nurture and develop your skills so that you can reach your full potential.
All staff undertake induction training when they join us. We offer a selection of additional courses covering both general and specialist topics. We also support staff to obtain recognised qualifications in care to further their careers with us.
At Inter County you can work as little or as much as you like. Many of our staff work regular weekly hours; others prefer to work on an ad-hoc basis. All you need to do is let us know when you are available and we will work around your schedule to ensure a healthy work/life balance.
When you join Inter County you join our family and a care company unlike any other. We recognise that our staff play a vital role in the delivery of quality care, and understand that the role can be both challenging and rewarding in equal measure. Ensuring that we offer our team ongoing support and the best possible work life balance and rewards, alongside the best training and development, is our highest priority.
Thank you for your interest in working for Inter-County Nursing & Care Services.
Please send us a message or upload your CV here – we’ll be in contact as soon as possible.
We look forward to hearing from you
